The individual in this role will be working with customers, HARMAN Pro Dealers, independent sales reps, and HARMAN regional sales managers to drive sales growth with HARMAN’s portfolio of professional Audio products.Your TeamThis position will lead a team of two production focused application experts.What You Will Do* Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by targeting Audio Production & Touring companies and select end-users.* Identify opportunities to take market share from HARMAN competitors* Formulate preliminary design recommendations, equipment packages, and pricing* Track opportunities via CRM and assist in formulating sales forecasts* Work with other HARMAN teams to build new, and grow existing, customer relationships* Manage a small team of production focused application expertsWhat You Need* Minimum 5 years’ experience in the professional audio industry.* Experience working with audio production houses, audio touring companies and/or end users within the production audio space.* Knowledge of competitive brands of production speakers, amplifiers and processing and technical knowledge of production audio and touring methods and processes.* Strong communication, leadership and collaboration skills.What is Nice to Have* 10+ years experience in the professional audio industry.* CRM, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & industry standard software.* Previous job history with a competitive equipment manufacturer and/or production company.* Deep technical knowledge of audio system theory and application.* Ability to set up and tune an audio production system* Awareness of competitive audio systems, purchase and maintenance costs.What Makes You Eligible* Be willing to travel up to 50%, domestic travel* Be willing to work in a Home Office* Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employmentWhat We Offer* Access to employee discounts on world class HARMAN products (JBL, Harman/Kardon, etc.)* Opportunity to collaborate with talented teams across the world* Inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages career development opportunities* Professional development opportunities through HARMAN University’s business and leadership academies and extensive course catalogHARMAN is an Equal Opportunity /Affirmative Action employer.
