Reporting to the Manager of Sales 3, you will be managing a team of Instrumentation Solution Architects around the country, the Sales Manager will direct resources, track projects and motivate a team to grow our business.

The Instrumentation PG Team consists of flow, level, pressure/Temperature and Recorders & Controllers specialists that support our customers and channel partners.Your responsibilitiesResponsible to meet / exceed the specific product sales targets for the US Instrumentation businessProduct Sales Driver will motivate a team of Solution Providers and drive direct and channel partners sales in of all specific product technologies to our focused marketsMain task is to manage opportunities, projects and day-to-day of the team and drive channel partners sales from a product, industry and solutions perspective, train channel partners to be the experts on the products and solutions, gain Approved Vendor List (AVL) approvals for key accounts in their region and drive large project pursuits within the regionDevelop and own your own 30, 60, 90 business plans and align with the mutual action planning between the Region Sales Managers and our Channel PartnersCollaborate with Region Sales Managers and Channel Managers to support trade shows and customer eventsParticipate in monthly cadence calls and quarterly reviews to report and deliver on 30, 60, 90 Industry business plan’s developmental efforts, opportunities and resultsDeliver “Voice of Customer” feedback to the PMU’s and Product Management team to ensure our products and solutions consistently have the best value proposition in the marketCollaborate with Channel Managers to support channel partner e-commerce and web based marketing effortsAct as a bridge between the factories and the industry and channel sales teamsFamiliarize yourself with your adjacent team member’s product offerings enough to be able to promote benefits and hand off to the right person or channel partner.

Achieve this familiarity through taking applicable ABB e-learning courses from our extensive libraryAssist Region Managers in providing input for quarterly Orders Commitment Spreadsheet (OCS) and budgeting processSupport the LBU Front-end sales (FES) team core values.
