nn Summary nn nnDrives profitable sales growth by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing new business relationships through a consultative sales approach.

This individual must be able to successfully lead and influence in a rapidly changing, complex business environment with significant multi-national employee population.nn nn n nn nnEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Other Duties not listed may be assigned.nn nn n nn Cultivates new business relationships through a focused and disciplined consultative solution sales methodology and nn approach with prospective, B2B customers.

nn Qualifies potential new business relationships by thoroughly analyzing industry strategies and trends, understanding nn clients’ business objectives, and tailoring SMS’s products and services to drive mutual value and alignment.

nn Perform as the sales leader in the assigned Territory focused on target accounts, representing upper management and nn communicating direction in motivational ways.nn Maintain responsibility for revenue, margin and profitability growth for all focus accounts within a brokerage region.

Lead new customer capture and revenue achievement by customer and undertake appropriate action with key nn Stakeholders to ensure that commitments are being met or exceeded.nn Develop and maintain strategic multilevel customer relationships to uncover specific needs and behaviors of key decision nn makers.nn Builds consensus among various stakeholders both externally and internally by navigating organizationally the decision nn making process to successfully execute the sales strategy by client.

nn Develop new strategic alliances with key customers.

Analyze and understand customers’ business strategy, future product plans, and expansion activities and align SMS nn resources where mutually beneficial.

nn Define business priorities through a broad and far vision of market and technology needs, to include initiating and nn managing business development activities that will strengthen, expand and drive market penetration.nn Work closely with the Business Development Team and the Finance Department to control budgets within the nn department.nn nn n nn nn Requirements: nn nn nn Bachelor’s degree related field 7 + years experience in Business Development Business Development or Account Management experience in Reverse Logistics & Supply Chain serving clients in the nn electronics and communication industry.

nn Customer Facing Experience
– good reputation with customers previously served Availability to work a flexible schedule including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends; travel as nn needed.

nn Experience meeting and exceeding sales goals.

Ability to work seamlessly with operations and execute initiatives.

Strong ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally nn n nn nn Preferred: nn nn nn OEM Experience preferred Engineering or electronics background nn n nn nn n nn nn Essential Skills: nn nn nn Requires ability to translate business strategy into day-to-day delivery.

Able to communicate financial, goal results, and key performance indicators to direct reports.

Requires excellent leadership, people management, and communication skills at a senior level.
