Bioworld Merchandising is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to join our growing team.

As the Chief Operating Officer , you will be a crucial member of the executive leadership team reporting directly to the CEO.

In addition to managing the Company’s operations, you will play a vital role in driving overall company strategy.

You will be responsible for establishing business processes and efficiencies to achieve ambitious growth while preserving the entrepreneurial spirit that drives the company.

Responsibilities: Team Leadership Oversee company operations including customer service, supply chain, apparel production and all warehousing Lead, manage and inspire team members by building upon an inclusive culture that drives employee satisfaction and productivity Develop operating procedures and best practices; define operational KPIs and set goals for department heads and senior business leaders to facilitate achievement of company-wide financial targets Develop Strategic plans to improve our technology and productivity Lead and support the Company’s digital strategy Encourage and facilitate communication and collaboration between teams Ensures development and continued growth of key personnel, focusing on continual training, development and mentorship.

Work with department heads to develop and implement training programs for new hires Provide training to leaders on ongoing improvement methodology and formal problem-solving techniques, enabling departments to drive better business results Strategy-related Collaborate with the executive leadership team to set and drive company vision, operational strategy and annual budget Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting and performance management Work closely with Accounting and other supportive teams to utilize financial reporting and KPIs to inform business decisions and operating strategy, while balancing growth and profit margins Collaborate with the creative and sales team on customer fulfillment, satisfaction and development as well as project prioritization to balance priorities, allocate resources and maintain customer satisfaction targets Lead strategic analysis, identifying supplemental market and client growth opportunities Process Related Develop, refine, and implement new and existing business process flows and reporting structures Identify areas for improvement and implement recommendations Monitor vendors and suppliers to ensure that they are efficiently and effectively servicing in a cost
– effective manner Identify potential organizational and geographical vulnerabilities and concentration risk in the supply chain.

Work with production and sourcing teams to diversify and optimize Qualifications: 10 years of relevant experience Former experience as an executive in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial organization Keen ability to quickly assess scenarios and translating strategy into action plans Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate objectives as well as provide the team with a clear framework of the strategic priorities In depth understanding of diverse business functions and principles (e.g.

supply chain, warehousing, finance, customer service, etc.) Experience in apparel manufacturing required Experience in licensing industry preferred Experience with overseas sourcing / shipping and freight logistics a plus M&A integration experience a plus
