Candidates should be able to teach introduction to comparative politics and advanced upper level comparative politics courses covering such areas as Western democracies, developing nations and/or a regional focus.

Candidates should also be able to teach American Government (POLS 2301 and POLS 2302).

Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience) Qualifications: Candidates should have PhD in Political Science or Government awarded by August 1, 2020, Salary and rank are dependent on experience and credentials.

The successful candidate will implement effective teaching strategies and communicate with, motivate, and evaluate students; maintain an active service agenda; participate with other faculty in professional and scholarly exchanges within the department and throughout the university; and participate in educationally related aspects of community and civic affairs.
