Manager Digital Site Merchandising

This role, reporting to the Director of Ecommerce, will plan monthly merchandising and content for the CosmoProf’s Ecommerce business-to-business segment that supports Canada and national salon chains.

The manager will drive business strategic marketing and merchandising priorities as well as leverage the best opportunities to reach monthly demand and financial goals.

This position requires the individual to be customer-centric as well as interactive, both within the department as well as cross functional with internal business and sales teams.

Join us.” Responsibilities Understand the unique needs and nuances of the stylist business-to-business markets and associated customer behavior for Canada and national chains.

Leverage insights to optimize business strategies.

Coordinate and execute the site content calendar, recapping and analyzing site performance in partnership with internal sales and merchandising teams across all businesses.

Content must translate to the broader CosmoProf strategy.

Create wire-frames and submit briefs to creative team.

Ensure content is driving engagement and monthly demand, adapt as needed.

Identify and resolve gaps in PDP and category level content.

Leverage web analytics to understand performance of and customer interaction with site content.

Identify digital marketing requirements necessary to acquire new customers and support revenue growth goals through a partnership with the Digital Marketing team.

Partner w/internal Full Service sales team to understand needs of customer base.

Leverage those learnings to develop appropriate digital strategies.

Partner with a category Merchandise Managers to optimize online merchandising to grow sales within category and overall e-Commerce strategies.

Partner with customer service to resolve online customer experience issues.

Responsible for reviewing site by ensuring all SKU’s & content pages are set up accurately within slated time frames, including naming convention, product attributes, product categorization, key words, SEO Support, search & product reviews.

Qualifications 3-5 years related ecommerce and digital experience.

2 years of digital business experience in the Canadian market or equivalent international market, preferred Proven success developing, implementing and managing an ecommerce business and related content strategies and initiatives for a direct-to-consumer and/or business-to-business digital organization.

Salesforce (content, order management), Baazarvoice (ratings, reviews, Q&A), product recommendations applications experience a plus.

Experience collaborating with marketers, creatives, merchants and other subject matter experts.

Passion for or previous experience in hair/salon industry preferred.

Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
