Northrop Grumman Navigation, Targeting and Survivability Division has an opening for a Principal Proposal Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals This position will be located on site in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Program Leadership to meet the goals and objectives of the NT&S organization.

Essential Functions: Develops, plans and schedules proposals Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels Basic Qualifications for Principal Proposal Analyst: Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience in Pricing & Estimating, Proposal Management, Business Management, Subcontracts, and/or Contract Management, or a Master’s degree with 4 years of stated experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Preferred Qualifications: DoD contracting experience (e.g.

FAR and DFARS government regulations) Knowledge and understanding of labor/material estimating, proposal analysis, and proposal adequacy as prescribed in DFARS Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment Proficient in Salesforce, SAP, Cognos, Jira and Tableau Excellent problem solving and organizational skills Active DoD Secret Clearance, awarded/reviewed within the last 5 years, and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access prior to start Salary Range: $80,100.00
– $120,100.00 Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to basepay.
