CornerStone Staffing in Arlington/GP is hiring for the following Payment Processor position

with a leading automotive retailer in Irving, TX.

Title: Payment Processor – contract for 2 – 3 months

Pay: $16/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

Location: Irving, TX

Position Summary:

The AP Check Processor will process check requests while meeting all Service Level Agreements and in compliance with the policies.

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Process on-demand check requests including generic, titles, lien payoffs, dealer trades, vehicle purchases

  • Process Electronic Funds Transfers for lien payoffs

  • Provide backup for the AP clerk

  • Resolve issues through email and phone when there are check request discrepancies

  • Work and resolve Check Processing problems from the Support Desk, vendors, stores, problem queues, and SSC team members on a daily basis

  • Meet or exceed service level agreements

  • Work with the AP Check Processor Lead to clear items from the Venali

  • Process assigned BPMS queues including Cancellations, Dealer Trades, and WBYC.

  • Perform any other outside projects and/or tasks as assigned

  • Process assigned work in an accurate and timely manner meeting all department requirements.

  • Cross train with other team members

Qualifications:

  • REQUIRED Basic accounting principles and logic

  • Strong data entry skills

  • Ability to produce a high volume of work while still maintaining accuracy

  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet strict commitments and deadlines

  • Experience handling high volume of paperwork in multiple computer database systems

  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate work flow

  • Communicate effectively with customer base

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language

  • Team player with superior service skills
