Job Title: Operations Associates

Location: Will be required to go into the office two days a month but otherwise it is all remote. 

Pay: $16/hr – depending on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

Job Description: The Operations Associate is a member of the Loan Operations team focused on individual servicing efforts through multiple media and processing channels. The Operations Associate will leverage their unique insight into multiple product lending platforms to beta-test customer facing and critical back office processes.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality customer service during call and written customer interactions.

  • Provide all relevant product/service information, accurate in all aspects, and confirm the customer understands to ensure a one-contact resolution to issues.

  • Collaborate with and provide user and customer feedback to various teams across the company.

  • Make needed changes within account records related to the receipt of death certificates, debt consolidation requests, settlement offers, military orders and cease and desist requests not related to debt consolidation and bankruptcy notices.

  • Negotiate settlement and debt consolidation amounts as outlined by methods and procedures.

  • Investigates credit bureau disputes and resolves via online tools.

  • Respond appropriately via phone interactions, emails, or written communication as outlined by the policies, methods and procedures, to customers and third parties regarding critical back office processes.

  • Process verification documents and verify customer identity according to outlined policies and procedures.

  • Handle the clerical functions of processing ACH returns and payment processing.

  • Present and enforce business requirements in a positive manner.

  • Follow and apply Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) appropriately.

  • Perform other duties or tasks as assigned.

Experience and Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer support/contact center environment preferred
