Pro Staff is hiring a 1st shift Inventory Control Specialist.

As an inventory control specialist, you will support the manufacturing, shipping, and repair teams by receiving, maintaining, transacting and delivering inventory. You will work with your team to achieve safety, quality, delivery, Inventory, and productivity goals while providing your ideas to improve the work.

Essential Functions: 

Inventory Control Specialist I

  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment 
  • Follow safety guidelines, procedures, and demonstrate safe habits
  • Read and follow SOP’s and standard work.
  • Perform picking, receiving, put-away, and cycle counting tasks.
  • Support manufacturing by replenishing parts to the point of use.
  • Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks)
  • Manage material movement using visual tracking to ensure production material is available
  • Identify and solve problems in the work area with management team
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned.
  • Perform transactions in the ERP system and use a computer for basic tasks.
  • Operate Stand up forklift (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities                                                                                                                                    

  • Customer Service oriented.
  • High attention to detail.
  • ERP System knowledge.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to analyze, conduct and comprehend simple mathematical tasks.
  • Ability to work with different departments within the company.
