Continuous Improvement Engineer/Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Relocation is provided Role Overview This role will be responsible to establish and maintain multi-year strategy with a focus on continuous improvement and taking accountability for execution, delivery, and results to meet operational targets and goals.

The ideal candidate is adept in identifying and implementing efficiency gains for projects at all levels but must have experience leading and executing projects/programs that are multi-dimensional, complex and critical to the site’s future.

As you partner with the unit leaders this may include identifying, scoping, measuring, analyzing, standardizing, implementation and monitoring newly created state.

Highly strategic and advisory level role; but able to and willingness to be tactical and ensure success This role will collectively be responsible for igniting and driving an operational excellence mindset/cultural transformation.

Ø Collaborate with site department subject matter experts identify and drive crucial efforts leading to sustainable improvement for the site Ø Serves as a subject matter expert for the site coaching others in the philosophy, methods, tools and techniques of process improvement to increase the capability of the business to respond to problems.

Requirements Ø Bachelor’s degree Chemical Engineering preferred or another engineering field Ø 5 years in a manufacturing environment is required Ø Lean or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified – strongly preferred Ø Demonstrated experience leading CI projects with proven track record of delivering tangible results Ø Hands-on attitude to get things done with the ability to manage change to a successful conclusion Ø Energetic and enthusiastic style (must have) Ø Expert level in process improvement tools and methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Hoshin, quality tools etc.) Ø Proven facilitator with the ability to coach, manage and lead teams Ø Strong financial acumen EEO Compliant.
