Senior Staff Technician Plant Maintenance

If so, we have the opportunity to help grow your career as you help take us to the next level!In your new role you will:* Maintain Central Plant systems and equipment* Coordinate and organizes system and equipment repairs, improvements, and problems.* Monitor system control screens and alarms. Respond and correct system problems* Make system rounds and rotate equipment.* Perform equipment preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements. Work with contractors to make repairs and improvements.* Complete work orders generated for equipment and systems.* Work with managers, Facilities engineers, and customers.* Respond to control problems, variations, and calibrations.* Document system changes, operating procedures, events, and improvements.* Solve system and equipment problems.* Look at control system data and takes actions when systems are out of control and changing unexpectedlyYou are best equipped for this task if you have:* 3-5 years of experience working on central plant systems- chillers, boilers, pumps, air compressors, cooling towers, air driers, scrubbers, fans, air handlers, process cooling loops, Variable Air Volume boxes, water distribution systems, fans, solvent exhaust systems, and house vacuum systems.* 2-4 years of semiconductor fab facilities experience a plus.* Vocational degree in controls, refrigeration, HVAC, or mechanics a plus.* A good communicator written and orally.* Gets along and supports other team members.* Good with hands. Understands mechanical components and has the ability to repair. Understands preventative maintenance practices.* Works safely and with safe practices.* Self motivated and works for constant improvement.* Willing to take on training efforts.
