CornerStone Staffing is currently recruiting for the following position:

Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk – MULTIPLE OPENINGS!

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Duration: Temp to Hire

Pay: $14/hr

Schedule: 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday

Job Description: General duties include processing daily bank deposits and accurately posting incoming check, ACH & Wire transfer payments to the accounts receivable, collections and responding to various customer requests received by department and maintain A/R integrity.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Process daily bank deposit; Separate checks according to company divisions, make copies of all checks & calculate deposit total for each deposit.

  • Post cash receipts to customer accounts accurately & in a timely manner.

  • Research payment discrepancies & short pay issues

  • Help maintain A/R integrity

  • Month end closing of A/R

  • Collections via phone, email & fax

  • Monitor ecommerce accounts; reconcile statements, review customer portal information, notify and resolve discrepancies and claims according to Supplier agreements.

  • Back up for daily order approvals

  • Emailing requested copies of invoices/credit memo’s and statements to customers

  • Perform other related job duties as requested

Job Skills Required:

  • Data Entry-10 Key Calculator by touch is a must

  • Accounts Receivable experience; posting payment to customer accounts accurately

  • Strong communications skills; both verbal & written

  • Must be able to multitask

  • Must be organized & extremely detail oriented

  • Proficient with Excel / Word

  • Ability to work as a team member

Other Helpful Attributes:

  • Positive contributions enhancing the accounting/credit department.

  • Banking experience helpful

  • SAP experience a plus
