Quality Systems Engineer

This is a Full-time position in Boerne, TX posted July 12, 2019.

This position could be based in the Rochester, NH or Boerne, TX location.

Develop and refine BMSQMS documents by developing procedures, policies, guidance documents, forms, training materials, and other documentation Ensure BMSQMS processes are compliant with pertinent regulations and external standards, including corporate policies Maintain a working knowledge of internal procedures, and external regulations, and standards Train staff on BMSQMS processes Ensure compliance to Business Management System (BMS) processes Interact with colleagues at all levels with the goal of researching, problem-solving and coordinating QMS activities to ensure the system is functioning properly Assess impact of proposed changes to QMS and QMS documents Be a member of the Internal Audit Team Support and perform audits, assess quality system effectiveness and address action items by initiating the CAPA system Prepare audit reports and presenting to team for closing Manage and monitor open CAPAs and evaluate their effectiveness Assess impact of proposed procedural changes to QMS and other QMS documents Prepares data to be presented at regular reviews of the management system DICE LI-ER1 Knowledge Technically qualified by education, training andor experience Minimum of B.S.

degree, preferably in engineering or science, 2 years of relevant experience preferred Minimum two years related experience in aerospace quality programs Minimum two years in an AS9100 environment Experienced or trained in auditing techniques successful completion of an internal auditing course andor auditing certification preferred Skills Quality system, process, and product auditing AS 9100 Systems Procedure documentation writing Supplier Quality Management experience considered a plus MSOffice proficient (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio skills required) Behaviors Proven problem solving skills in a teamwork setting Strong decision-making ability, capable of setting and balancing priorities Demonstrated interpersonal and communicationpresentation skills, oral and written Customer focus with strong attention to detail Equal Opportunity Employer MinoritiesWomenProtected VeteransDisabled Date 6142019
