This job is located in Lajitas Texas.
Housekeepers are the core of any resort operation. Located in Lajitas, Texas full time housekeepers are able to obtain discounted housing on-site. Although we are very remote, this resort offers an employee pool, free laundry facilities, free meal Monday through Fridays and discounts on foods in our General Store.
*Duties*
* Obtains list of vacant rooms which need to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check outs in order to prepare work assignments
* Clean and maintain guest rooms to the highest standards possible and clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel
* Reports maintenance issues to supervisor, front desk or maintenance department
* Advises supervisor when rooms are ready for occupancy
* Attends periodic staff meetings with other department heads to discuss company policies and patrons’ complaints, and to make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation
