We are looking for your experience, knowledge and patient care skills in ourWound Healing Centerwhere you will be responsible for:What You Will Be Doing:Responsible for the patient care in the Wound Care Center.

This includes, but is not limited to, utilization of skills in organization, planning, implementing, evaluating, and providing care through the use of hospital and nursing standards.Provides case management to a group of patients providing specific assessments according to protocols and procedures, clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments, and patient/caregiver education related to wound care management, and acts as patient advocate in delivery and coordination of patient care.Provides efficient and effective care with the guidance of the physician during the clinic sessions, attends the clinics where scheduled and is dependable.

Able to manage a number of patients at the same time with high energy and organization.Collaborates with other health carep roviders, wound care center Physicians, Progam Director and Medical Director, regarding clinic and patient needs.Maintains and demonstrates competency in BLS, infections control, safety and all unit required skill reviewParticipating actively in UTHET’s performance improvement process as it relates to nursing practices and proceduresInteracting with co-workers and other hospital staff, guests and patients providing outstanding customer service Details: So what experience are we looking for in our Registered Position?Current RN license or compact RN license to practice in Texas,or Texas licensed LVN, or Certified Medical AssistantCurrent BLS required and ACLS required (ACLS required for RN)Wound Care Certification preferred.Med/Surg, Home Health, or Wound Care experience preferred.Now that you read about what you will be doing and the experience we seek, it is time to apply and make a difference in the lives of our patients.UT Health East Texas is an equal opportunity employer (including veterans and persons with disabilities).
