HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast has been serving the needs of Southeast Harris County for 55 years. It offers 364 licensed beds, a NICU, an Advanced Wound Care Center, and a full complement of hospital services.  

 

HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare, part of the HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division. The division is a comprehensive network of hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, emergency centers and diagnostic imaging facilities in greater Houston, Corpus Christi and South Texas. Facilities include: 17 hospitals, nine ambulatory care centers, 13 off-campus emergency centers, and a regional transfer center.

What you will do in this role:

 

The Employee Health/Injury Coordinator ensures that on-the-job employee injuries/illnesses are managed in a manner that complies with corporate/hospital policy, provides quality care to employees while maintaining the lowest possible costs.  He/she also administers the Employee Health and Safety Program (3 days per week per coordination of priorities by Employee Health/Injury Coordinator, the additional 2 days are utilized to assist with Infection Control and Inpatient Diabetes Education) according to related policies and standards established by regulating/accrediting agencies.  The Employee Health/Injury Coordinator provides a range of responsibilities that contribute to the department’s overall objective to serve its customer (the employees of the hospital).  This position is primary for Employee Health and Injury Coordination and includes related duties in Wellness Services and Infection Control.

 

 

 

Qualifications

What qualification you will need:

 

  • Minimum two (2) years clinical nursing experience preferred.  
  • Previous experience with employee injury or Employee Health Programs preferred.  Supervisory skills preferred.
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing, 
  • Current Texas Nursing License
