Occupational Therapist

This is a Full-time position in Galveston, TX posted March 27, 2021.


Shriners Children’s Texas, the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center, has an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our team.

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for:

  • plans, coordinates and provides comprehensive therapy services to patients in an inpatient ICU and outpatient setting
  • ensures proper documentation, home training and interdepartmental communication are completed for each patient

Job Requirements:


Bachelors in Occupational Therapy required.  MOT preferred


1 year experience in a physical therapy setting preferred

Certification and Licensure

OT license in the state of Texas

Additional Skills

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
