SIGNET MARITIME CORPORATION Manager, HSSEQ Ingleside, TX POSITION DESCRIPTION This position is ideal for a competent individual who will utilize his/her combined knowledge of Health, Safety, Compliance, and Maritime Industry.

The successful candidate will be an important team member heavily relied upon and a valued employee supporting the management team.

REPORTS TO: Senior Manager HSSEQ, Signet Maritime ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manages the Company’s International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 certified Quality Control System and the International Maritime Organization’s (IMO)International Safety Management (ISM) Code certified Safety Management System.

Ensures Signet is in compliance with applicable environmental laws, rules and regulations.

Maintains the certified Facility and Vessel Security Plans and ensures the Company and all vessels operate in accordance with applicable security-related federal and local laws.

Oversees vessel operations to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, applicable CFR’s, U.S.C.G.

Regulations, EPA, TGLO, and other regulatory agencies as required.

Serves on the companies various Emergency Response Teams.

Oversees client contractor safety systems and analysis.

Oversees Training Program development and management.

Performs special projects, Internal Vessel Audits, Client Audits and all other duties as assigned.

Communication with customs and agents Completes trending and tracking reports on HSSEQ key performance indicators May act as Company Security Officer, Qualified Individual and Designated Person Ashore Provide HSSEQ and Regulatory guidance to all stakeholders Manage companies ISM audit program to include scheduling and corrective actions Incident Commander and primary investigator in all incidents Provide support and guidance to shipyard EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Minimum Qualifications: Required: In depth understanding of ISO 9001, ISM Code, Marpol and applicable maritime regulations Maritime Internal auditing experience Bachelor’s degree from a highly accredited university Minimum GPA of 3.0 Fulfills the requirements to act as a Designated Person Ashore REQUIRED SKILLS Preferred: Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word), Adobe Offshore experience onboard vessel ISM/ ISO auditor certification preferred Any HSE experience is preferred USCG License is preferred Company Security Officer Certification Designated Person should have a minimum of formal education as follows: 1.

Qualifications from a tertiary institution recognized by the Administration or by the recognized organization, within a relevant field of management, engineering or physical science, or 2.

Qualifications and seagoing experience as a certified ship officer pursuant to the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), 1978, as amended, or 3.

Other formal education combined with not less than three years practical senior level experience in ship management operations.
