VP Infrastructure Delivery & Partner Services

We are searching for a VP, Infrastructure Delivery and Partner Services to join our team.  This is a critical role under the CTO office of Company.

Position Description

This role drives the value realization of the large transformation programs and activities that the Infrastructure, Engineering and Operations team delivers for all of Company.  Moreover, this role leads the enterprise-wide strategic planning and global delivery for Company’s technology stack. Another key element of this role is leveraging strategic partnerships to deliver emerging technologies that position Company at the forefront of innovation.  This also includes managing our partner services and collaborating closely with sourcing to execute and manage sourcing activities critical to the office of the CTO.

The leader will improve the working effectiveness of the CTO team to achieve Company’s Technology value proposition. Critical to success, this office drives results through a strategic and action-oriented focused cadence. The VP has a business operations mindset combined with deep IT financial acumen and with a technology fluency to help business leaders navigate tech-enabled initiatives where business operational changes are required to harvest value.


  • Stewarding the delivery of Company’s technology strategy and technology portfolio roadmap
  • Providing strategic thought leadership and guiding strategic initiatives and transformation activities across the Infrastructure, Engineering and Operations organization; promoting the organization’s strategic vision and execution
  • Facilitating a continual strategic planning process, the creation of the strategic roadmap and oversight of strategic initiatives in alignment with the Company Strategy
  • Establishing performance management metrics to drive business value realization tracking, processing operations effective with enabling technologies and technology optimization
  • Stewarding technology operating model structure and overall decision making
  • Partnering with technology CFO, Sourcing and Legal teams to manage strategic and vendor relationships
  • Orchestrate and manage accountability around continuous improvement efforts and cost optimization programs
  • Oversee and manage sourcing initiatives for IT transformation
  • Collaborating and stewarding with technology stack leaders on the implementation of dashboards and metrics to represent the value of the CTO office activities per Business Unit
  • Tracking overall operational excellence against external benchmarks and defining service levels expected by business and customers
  • Ensuring alignment between Company Technology’s investment portfolio to the organizations total cost of technology and budgeting cycle
  • Working in close partnership with our CFO to establish business case specificity to effectively track value realization
  • Establishing performance metrics to show total cost of technology.
  • Establishing and meeting the annual budget for organization; partnering with FP&A to understand and adjust forecasts monthly
  • Gaining accuracy in forecasts and delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Ensuring ROI is in place and realized for every project approved.  Experience with demand management to successfully source support of initiatives
  • Investing in the development of self and others across the enterprise
  • Demonstrating visible sponsorship of talent management processes and tools that allow people leaders to identify, differentiate and develop our talent
  • Building bench strength and pipeline plans by leveraging available leadership development programs and assessment resources
  • Creating succession plans and talent pools for leadership and senior leader roles
  • Effectively use available total rewards incentives and programming to drive and acknowledge high levels of performance
  • Consistently seeking out and providing open, candid feedback in the spirit of facilitating growth and improvement; conducting performance conversations on a quarterly basis (at minimum)
  • Providing oversight (financially and strategically) for specific employee programs within Company Technology and ensure alignment with enterprise talent strategies:

Minimum Requirements

Typically requires 15+ years of professional experience and 10+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience).

Critical Skills

  • Experience with driving enterprise-wide IT program in large complex environments with legacy and innovation intertwined. 
  • Ability to formulate plans and activate initiatives for: technology architecture, patterns, standards, and services leveraging common technologies and architecture
  • Deep vendor management experience, especially with large outsourcing engagements
  • Experience with driving strategic planning, managing large portfolio projects and delivering business value
  • Experience with creation of executive dashboards and insightful metrics
  • Deep IT financial acumen especially in a charge back model
  • Established success with driving continuous improvement and orchestrating alignment between different groups to achieve financial commitments
  • Established relationships with key technical strategic partners worldwide
  • Global operations background
  • Capable of applying existing, new and emerging technologies to new and evolving organizational models

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, credibility to EOT levels

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred
