Job Description The Reliability / Quality Test Engineer will be based in Irving, TX .

If you are a Reliability Engineer also with a background in testing of systems including mechanical, electrical and software test, apply now In this position, you will be responsible for reliability engineering associated with various products including requirements review, reliability planning and test strategy, developing reliability predictions, providing guidance to project test engineers, identifying test equipment, fixturing and test software requirements, test results analysis and reporting.

You will collaborate with the Project Systems Engineer, technical owner of the project.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates: Intense collaboration Passionate customer focus Thoughtful, fast, disciplined execution Tenacious commitment to continuous improvement Relentless drive to win Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do: Ensure clear, testable product reliability requirements including system, electrical, mechanical and software requirements.

Develop reliability test plans and strategy Generate reliability predictions and allocations Define product life test and Reliability Test strategy definition for entire product development cycle.

Determine sample size for testing to customer requirements based on confidence/reliability targets Determine annual failure rate predictions Specify test equipment, fixturing and test software requirements.

Support project level test planning.

FMEA reviews.

Perform product integrity testing for compliance and reliability against test plans.

Write test plans and test reports.

Define test automation and data processing tools.

Assist in the creation of new test methods and new test equipment setups Collect and manage product and test data (FRACAS).

Here is some of what you’ll need (required): Minimum 10 years of related experience, including 5 years’ experience with medical device equipment design and test.

Bachelor’s Degree in Reliability Engineering and/or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) preferred.

Familiarity with reliability modeling, reliability allocations Developing Use Models Systems/Product testing experience.

Test equipment specification and/or design.

Understanding of electromechanical interrelationships such as electrical motor control and mechanical operation.

Experience managing teams – technical guidance.

Understanding of requirement to test traceability.

Understanding of real-time systems concepts Here are a few of our preferred experiences: Experience with Reliability Predictions: MIL-HDBK-217 or Telcordia SR-332 Experience with component derating/stress analysis.
