INCEED is working in partnership with an industry-leading organization in Oklahoma City.

Our client, a reputable, state-wide organization, is seeking a talented Infrastructure/Cloud Architect to join its IT Architecture team permanently, as a direct-hire W2 employee.

The ideal candidate has a wide-breath of technical knowledge, and hold has an intermediate to advance knowledge of Systems, Storage, Server, Network, and Information Security.

This person should be passionate about the Technical Infrastructure and Business goals, have pristine communication and organizational skills, and enjoy working in a collaborative, communicative professional environment.

The successful candidate will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the IT Infrastructure and will have a complete understanding of the business’ strategy.

The Infrastructure Architect will provide technical leadership to the Operational teams, and the Engineer, Administrative, and Support groups across the Information Technology department.

This person will conceptualize, visualize, and innovate the company’s infrastructure and application management platforms.

This person will coordinate with various Architectural SMEs, Department heads, Technical groups, and the Project Management Organization to plan projects, track projects, and move the company through an ongoing Digital Transformation.

They will also be a champion for implementing and maintaining a robust technology platform strategy.

As the infrastructure / Cloud Architect, you’ll: * Engineer, configure and maintain a secure IT infrastructure* Work closely with architect teams across the organization, as well as other business leaders on creating, building, and producing a robust technical environment* Design and complete CyberSec strategy for a backup data center migration to either AWS or Azure* Make security a priority at every step of the infrastructure, application, and product lifecycle* Design scalable infrastructure with minimal oversight, implement system change with consistency and autonomy * Analyzes complex outages in order to identify opportunities* Research and establish best practices in technology platform solutions, security best practices, and technology governance* Lead technology project delivery from the technical implementation perspective* Work with management to prioritize business and information needs* Mentor team members and technical peers Skills and experience that enable success in this role: * Proven working experience as a Systems, Infrastructure, or Information Security Engineer* Understand the business goals and strategies, and translate business requirements into actionable technological approaches * 7+ years of experience in an Infrastructure-related IT position* Intermediate to advance knowledge of Network, Server Operating Systems, Storage, Core Infrastructure, and Application Delivery platforms* Experience working in a predominately Linux-based environment* Ability to work in a multi-site/virtual group environment, utilizing Agile methodology * Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy* Industry knowledge within Insurance, Financial, or Healthcare fields is preferred* BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Information Security, or related field; 4 years of experience, in addition to the above requirement, may be considered in lieu of required education.
