We are looking for LTE Test engineer to join our LTE engineering team.

He or she will be a key contributor on a multi-functional team of R&D, Integration, and Field Support Engineers to introduce LTE products to a Wireless Carrier.

He or she will be responsible for testing LTE access network and also responsible for validating various protocols over all the interfaces in these access networks.

He or she will also be responsible for analyzing the customer requirements, converting then into system requirements and then into test plans and detailed test procedures.

He or she will perform test activities and troubleshooting SW/HW issues in the Client lab as well in the customer’s lab and field deployments.

Job Requirements: C o mm o n E sse ntia l D uti es an d Responsibilities:
· Responsible for analyzing the customer requirements, converting then into system requirements and then into test plans and detailed test procedures
· Responsible for testing LTE access network and validating various protocols over all the interfaces in these access networks
· Responsible for testing major LTE features like Carrier Aggregation, FD-MIMO, 5G, eMTC, NB-IOT, Beam forming
· Performing test activities and troubleshooting of SW/HW issues in Client and Customer lab and field deployments Qualifications
· Experience with wireless networks, architecture and protocols
· K nowledge of LTE and network architecture specifically focused on Radio Access Network
· K nowledge of LTE Air Interface, PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC and PDCP layer
· Experience in testing various protocols for interoperability
· Expertise in system performance, KPI measurement
· Expertise in creating test plans for system level, subsystem level and feature level testing.

· Ability to translate standards, feature documents and customer requirements into test plans, test cases
· Ability to troubleshoot issues and get into technical discussions with customer
· Background and Experience Requirements
· Masters in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science with 1-2 years of industry experience is required
· Experience with protocol analyzers, test tools such as XCAL, QXDM, Wireshark, Channel Emulator, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators
· 3GP P understanding
· Experience in scripting is beneficial
· Understanding of HW as well as SW architecture
· Able to work hands on with the equipment in the vendor and customer’s lab
· Ability to work and communicate with a broad set of team members of varying knowledge base
