Supported by Laboratory Directors at Hospitals over 200-beds, and MLT Laboratory Managers at the smaller facilities and outpatient sites, the Administrative Director will lead an outstanding and high-achieving Laboratory Team.

In addition to the Clinical and Technical Managers, this Director will also lead a team of Laboratory Specialists focusing in Quality, Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Point of Care, and Regulatory Accreditation.nn nnOverseeing a Regional Laboratory Service Line across multiple hospitals and outpatient / ambulatory sites will be no small task.

The Administrative Director should have a background in Acute Care Hospital Laboratory Leadership, and strong experience leading both clinical and operational initiatives.

This person will support clinical ladder development, employee education, and clinical quality improvement.

The Regional Director will create and test innovative staffing models and strategy to combat turnover and meaningfully engage the team.nn nnWhile serving as a subject matter expert on all manner of laboratory testing procedures, from medium to high complexity, the Regional Director will also provide guidance and accountability for adherence to CLIA and CAP Accreditation requirements.

This person will exercise a wide scope of control for efficiency and quality initiatives, and will be a leading voice in advocacy for integration of Laboratory Services. nn nnSouth Texas is well known for its beauty, peace, and quiet.
