Administrative Assistant

This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted January 30, 2019.

Fantastic opportunity to join a very reputable organization in the heart of Ottawa! Our client, a very busy nonprofit organization is seeking an administrative assistant to support their team during their peak season. Ideally they are looking for someone who has a great sense of initiative, is collaborative, willing to help out where need be, and who is not afraid to work hard but also play hard. This role is located downtown with working hours from Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Record-keeping such as tracking, invoicing, reporting in preparation for audits
  • Day-to-day administrative duties including filing records and data entry
  • Assisting project managers with coordination duties
  • Coordinating meeting and travel arrangements
  • Assist with the collection and reconciliation of travel and expense claims
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience or familiarity with Government funded initiatives
  • Microsoft Office knowledge required
  • Strong initiative and foresight to take on additional tasks
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Team-player and go-getter attitude to get the work done as needed!
